Alex Darian is a singer-songwriter, music producer, and actor born in Fort Worth, Texas in the United States and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has always encompassed an intense passion for music and the performing arts. As a child, he was always intrigued by music and the background of how music was produced. It was very evident that his ambition was cultivated at a tender age, and it comes as no surprise that the performing arts would be his future career. As he was growing up, he spent his teenage years performing at a church philharmonic orchestra playing the trumpet and studied music with a retired conductor of The Malaysian National Philharmonic Orchestra for three years, and completed 2nd grade of ABRSM, United Kingdom.

Alex grew up listening to artists such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Cher, Freddie Mercury of Queen, Robbie Williams, Marvin Gaye, Usher, Backstreet Boys, and Justin Timberlake. He had that performer's spark back in 2011 when he participated in a high school competition where he had auditioned for the Michael Jackson dance performance and made an opening act for the show performing Smooth Criminal.

At the age of 18, Alex enrolled himself at an institution for singing lessons for a year to refine his talent and was soon invited to perform at a wedding reception with 300 guests in August of 2013. He presented a cover song that was played by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men, "One Sweet Day" along with his family members. He was thereafter further inspired by the audience to pursue his passion for music as both an artist and a songwriter. His dance performance is also uploaded on his personal YouTube channel together with his cover rendition song, “Wait For You” by Elliot Yamin, which got him an initial 354 views.

Later in 2015, he enrolled in a theater program and received a year's intensive actor training throughout the program. He has played a role in a student showcase as Sherlock Holmes and graduated in February 2016.

In early 2017, Alex moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his music career to obtain a degree in Music Production from The Los Angeles Recording School to learn songwriting, sound designing, production techniques, and the business of music. Having graduated in 2019, he has been drawn to film theatrics as a background actor on various projects in the film business while he was searching and experimenting with his musical sound.

Circa 2020, Alex had his work featured in The Los Angeles Film School’s Paint Jam live art event as a composer for a sophomore’s painting of the cosmos, and the school also featured some of his recorded compositions on an Industry Insider live webinar. Now in 2021, Alex will be releasing his new single, “If You’re Not The One” independently on February 12th under his own startup entertainment company, Alex Darian Productions.
